Contract Abstract:
The work includes R14, R15 underground stations, 1 short cut and cover tunnel beside the R14 station, 3 underground bore tunnels with a total length of about 2,700 meters and 1 tunnel, which extends nearly 450 meters in length through the Ban-Ping Mountain. Along Boai Road, the alignment extends northward from the R14 Sanmin Junior High School Station at the intersection of Boai 2nd Road and Yucheng Road, passing Chunghe Road and R16 Taoyuan Station, then goes through a section of raised tunnel from underground and stops at the northern end of tunnel in Ban-Ping Mountain. The R16 Taoyuan Station, constructed by the Reconstruction Bureau of Taiwan Railway, will provide services for Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA), Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp. (THSRC) and KRTC.
